Locker Room-Male Mentorship Prog.

Lighthouse  has received an overwhelming response for our new program “The Locker Room”-A Male Mentoring Program.  We need your help to feed, establish a curriculum, fund enrichment opportunities, and provide a consistent location for our meetings.  Our young men are in great need for positive males in their life.  The absence of fathers or father figures has created a severed foundation; which makes it more difficult to be successful.  Men must be shaped and sculptured to bring out the wonderful qualities that have been buried underneath mischief and the silent cry to understand who they are.  Young men need someone positive to emulate, a person to help answer the questions that their parents have very little time to do, and a place to go for help.  The Locker Room is that place!  The Locker Room is a safe haven that allows our boys to develop into young men that are self sufficient, have control of their emotions, communicate effectively, create dreams, and give back to the younger generations.  Mentorship gives hope and having a mentor that provides insight on life is VERY necessary for the proper development of our young men.  Please help before we lose another generation of young men!
