— About the film —

Dr. Farini has his own psychology practice in Chicago, and he’s just started seeing a new patient, Evan Howell. Evan, a successful investment banker, has been suffering from nightmares and panic attacks ever since he moved back to the city a year ago. As Dr. Farini tries to get to the root of Evan’s issues, he starts to unearth clues that bring up old memories of his daughter’s disappearance. The more he discovers about the traumatic event that gave Evan these symptoms, the more he realizes that event and his daughter’s disappearance are connected. Eventually, Dr. Farini finds out the truth: ten years ago, Evan accidentally hit and killed a girl while driving. Too afraid of the consequences, he decided to bury the girl and cover up the crime. That girl was Dr. Farini’s daughter, and her case was never solved. What will Farini do with Evan now that he knows the truth? Will he find closure in knowing what happened to his daughter? Or will Dr. Farini’s rage and feelings of vengeance outweigh his morality?

Liliya Kolomina - Director

Hailing from Siberia, Russia, Liliya Kolomina found her passion in visual storytelling which led her to work on various projects with different styles and genres. She is currently in her senior year at Columbia College Chicago with a concentration in directing.

Vickie Knoll - Writer

Vickie Knoll is in her junior year at Columbia College Chicago, studying Television Production. Her concentration is in directing, but she also has a passion for screenwriting.

Sam Stibal – Producer

Sam Stibal is a senior at Columbia College Chicago studying Film and Television. Originally from the northern suburbs, Sam is eager to work in an expanding local film and television market.

Lukas Qiu – Director of Photography

Lukas is in his junior year at Columbia College Chicago majoring in Film and Television Production. His concentration is in cinematography and acting.

Reid Thomasson - Production Designer

Reid is a Senior Film and Television Major at Columbia College Chicago, with plans of graduating in the spring. His concentration is in casting direction and production design.

Garrett Solomon - Editor

Garrett Solomon is a transfer senior at Columbia College Chicago who is working towards a film major. Although he had long wanted to work somewhere in the film industry, it was not until three or four years ago that he fully realized his career interests in editorial work. Garrett is primarily interested in working on nonfiction projects after graduation.
