On February 1st, our beloved mother Gwendolyn Ray, passed on from this life and over to the next. Deeply saddened by her sudden lost, we are now attempting to coordinate her final home going celebration, "The Last Flight Home".
En route to her final resting, she'll take a one-way flight from Ohio back to her home state North Carolina, where she will be greeted by many of those who loved her and sent off with a service fit for an angel.
In 2009 our mom suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm that changed our lives forever, but that didn’t end her story. She fought for weeks and eventually was able to overcome this unfortunate situation. As a result, she required the need of 24/7 home healthcare, in which her daughter Takeshia dropped everything to provide for the next 9 years until her last days. She fought to stay with us as long as she could until the development of complications from a recent surgical procedure, ultimately gifted her wings to ascend up to heaven.
While we don’t want anyone to feel obligated, anything you can contribute would be beyond helpful and greatly appreciated. With total services exceeding more than $6,000, wishfully we’re hoping to get any assistance you might be able to provide.
