The Last Case is also a creative proof-of-execution for my debut horror feature. The Last Case is a controlled, contained world that allows me to fully realise the tone, language, and psychological depth that will define my larger body of work in the genre.

Set against the iconic realism of London, The Last Case reimagines the familiar backdrop of London through a psychological horror lens - a perspective rarely explored in British cinema.

I am currently raising £20,000 to bring this short film to life at the level it deserves, not as a “calling card”, but as a fully realised cinematic experience that stands on it's own while laying the foundation for a much larger vision…

LOGLINE:

On her last day as a social worker, Ava returns to her old neighbourhood for a routine visit, but when she is trapped in a council flat in her old tower block, she encounters a vengeful young girl who needs "saving".
