On July 31st, my sister's husband was in a motorcycle accident that has rendered him unconscious and left him with serious injuries. Those of you that know Chance know that he takes his greatest pride in the work he does to provide for his wife and son. While Chance's prognosis is positive, his road to recovery will be long, arduous, and costly, and the time he'll need to spend away from that work will create a definite financial hardship for his family. In addition to the expenses to maintain their household, the costs of hotels and transportation for Bobbie and Kingston to stay by his side in a Northern California intensive care unit are beginning to stack up, and will intensify before they lessen. I'm reaching out to our friends to contribute in any small way possible to help my sister and nephew through this difficult time, which will allow them to focus their attention on Chance, where it most needs to be.
