The Jungle Relief Fundraiser

Donation protected
On December 4th “The Jungle”, the largest known homeless encampment in this nation, was dismantled in front of the people who had called this place their home. This controversial move has left hundreds in search of a new place to call home all while in the midst of one of the heaviest rain seasons the Bay Area will see in years.

A group of social worker students from San Jose State University have joined together to try and help. We are starting this fundraiser to raise money towards purchasing items that will help those affected by this travesty. Every penny received will go towards purchasing items for them. We plan to purchase tents, sleeping bags, jackets and specific requested items and pass them out on the streets. We hope you can help us make this a possibility so that we can start distributing these items very soon.  Anything helps! We lost too many lives of those living on the streets  last year, lets try to stop it from happening again. Thank you for opening your heart to help those most in need.
