Maria Salud Rojas

With heavy hearts, we reach out on behalf of our dear friends, Karina and Nancy, who are grieving the tragic and sudden loss of their beloved mother, Maria Salud Rojas.

Only 3 weeks ago Maria was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and given 6-9 months to live. The last few weeks have been a medical roller coaster, but these sisters have come together to care for their mom in the most tender and extraordinary ways, making sure she was completely supported and honored every step of this awful journey.

They had just begun to make plans to bring Maria home from the hospital so they could have time with her and honor her wishes along the way, but her condition rapidly worsened and she unexpectedly passed before getting to come home.

While her daughters are mourning this tremendous loss and navigating the many next steps ahead, we wanted to create a space for those who want to help carry the burden by providing much needed financial support.
