My brother and I created the Jesse Winchester Project to honour Jesse’s music, and give something back to his many fans. We’re thrilled that Jesse’s son Marcus Lee Winchester decided to sing his father’s songs and tell stories from his unique perspective. We assembled a fantastic group of musicians including some of the original members of his original band “The Midnight Bus”, and performed a 90 minute show of songs and stories to a sold out crowd in Montreal, Jesse’s second home. It was a special night and we’re excited to share it with you. Unfortunately, the cost of mounting the show far exceeded ticket revenue, and we ended up about $3,000 out of pocket.
