For the past five years, my sister-in-law and her fiancée Char have been on a long and emotional journey to grow their family. As a same-sex couple, their path to parenthood hasn’t been simple — but their hearts have never given up on the dream of becoming mums. This October, they begin their next round of IVF treatment, and we are praying that this time, it’s their miracle.

These two women are some of the most loving, selfless humans you could ever meet. When I tragically lost my sister, they were there without hesitation — helping with the kids, supporting me through heartbreak, and showing up in ways for not only me but my family as well , in all ways I will never forget. They’ve poured so much love into others, and now it’s their time to receive love back.

Unfortunately, IVF is not just emotionally challenging, it is also incredibly expensive. Their upcoming treatment comes with a Global Fee of $16,841, which includes:

• In Vitro Fertilisation Treatment – $9,059.00

• Planning and Management – $663.00

• Oocyte Recovery – $463.00

• Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection – $1,165.00

• Embryo Transfer – $415.00

• Embryo Freezing – $891.00

• Local Donor Program Registration – $2,022.00

• 3 x Donor Vials – $2,163.00

This total doesn’t even include extra expenses such as hospital cover, anaesthetic fees, and medications — pushing the total closer to $20,000.

Every dollar raised will go directly towards their IVF journey — covering medical bills, donor costs, and giving them the chance to hold their baby in their arms at last. If we can get 380
