On June 27th lightening struck the Gere's home, and fire ensued. Their house is unlivable, and the extent of the damage isn't known just yet. 

They are currently living out of a hotel, will need to seek temporary housing, and are uncertain of what insurance will cover. They're estimating it will take approximately 9 months, or more, to get the house back into decent shape. Thank God they are safe, they have each other's love, and they need our help.

Anything that you can give is so appreciated. They have a long road ahead and will take things one day at a time.
