Family & Friends Scholarship Fund for Caylah

Caylah is proud to be a member of the 2022 graduating class of The Academy at Palumbo High School. Caylah has also accepted invitation to attend The Pennsylvania State University this August, majoring in Business.  

I’m leiu of gifts the family is asking that you contribute to the Family & Friends Scholarship Fund to support her education. In the African tradition of cooperative economics and the spirit of the Kwanzaa principle (Ujamaa), we hope to show visable financial support to Caylah’s ability to build wealth by first supporting her educational pursuits.

About the Fund:

The Fund will provide supplemental financial support to Caylah during her undergraduate career and will be disposed annually over 4 years. The contribution will only be used for education related cost. To incentivize donations, her parents will match $1 to $1 for every donations in the name of the donor. In other words, if you donate $25 the family will match that for a total donation of $50 in your name.  

Caylah’s Scholastic and Community Accomplishments:

• Member of Mock Trial 
• Literature Tutor 
• Varsity Basketball Sports Manager
• Varsity Softball Team
• Varsity Volleyball Team

Personal Accomplishments: 

Successfully contributing to school and sports while conquering personal adversity by developing skills that has made her a better leader. 

Penn State Alumni:

There is much said about the fundraising ability of PSU alumni. THON and other campaigns regularly exceed their fundraising goals. Please demonstrate what it means to be a Nittany Lion and welcome her into the fold.

Caylah and her parents are eternally grateful for your love and support. We know that her success is as a result of your contribution to her ability to make the greatest impact on the world.  Collectively, we have raised a kind, thoughtful, and driven human. She is empowered to challenge injustice and to be inclusive of others.
