My uncle’s truck was stolen leaving him without means for income. He uses his truck for work and is really struggling right now.
I have set up this go fund me page for him to help towards repairing his truck so he can get to work.
He shared with me the police report describing what happened. He is completely devastated. If anyone can donate it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Chronological synopsis of events Leading up to the theft of my truck and subsequent damage to the truck and the other vehicles damaged by the reckless driving of that individual.
Date:. Wednesday October 6th, 2021 6:43 PM
6:43 Pm I was selling a garden hose and hose bib real through the Facebook Market Place Buy/Sell to somebody who was driving up from McKenzie town. We were to meet at the Safeway parking lot in the north corner. I arrived there approximately 6:43 PM.
A few minutes afterwards the guy and his wife arrived to purchase garden hose. I jumped out of my truck to grab the hose from the back of my truck to bring over to their vehicle and then we started the process of them doing an email transfer to pay for it.
I left my truck running because it was getting cold and I didn’t have a jacket. It was just a matter of bringing the items over to their vehicle and quickly doing the email tranfer.
6:47 pm. We had just finished an email transfer when his wife screamed "somebody’s jumping into your truck!!! "
By the time I turned around, as I had my back to my truck, the thief had jumped into my truck, slammed the door and backed up; almost hitting me in the process and zipped out of the parking area, so fast that I am amazed he didn't kill any shoppers coming in and out of Safeway.
He ran the red light out of the mall driveway onto 18th St. Making a right hand turn.
He then ripped up 18th St. running a second red light at the intersection of 76 Avenue and 18th St. and barrelled so fast up the 18th street hill that he was gone out of site within seconds Northbound on 18th St. I was in shock.
6:52. I called 911 and reported the insident to the 911 operator. Was on the phone with them for 15 mins until the police vehical arrived.
7:07 PM. Police vehical arrived. I gave them a discription of events and my Vehical information.
Also I texted photo of my truck I took at 6:43 Pm; Which I had taken for the couple coming to buy the stuff on Facebook marketplace so they could see where my vehicle was parked in the Safeway parking lot corner because earlier They couldn’t find me where I was parked.
They talked to and exchange information With the two witnesses steal my truck
7:15 The police officers gave me drive up to my condo Up in Lynnwood
I went home and waited to see if the truck would be found or something
7:36. I got a call from the officers saying that they found the truck and have the guy up in Dover ridge in their custody. The officer said I can come up in recover my truck otherwise it would’ve been towed to an impound lot
So I arrange with a friend to drop me off at Location where the vehicle was found
7:50. I arrive at your location 3767 dover Ridge southeast to see that the drunk driver that stole my truck Had smashed into Four vehicles in that residential area
I went over and gave my registration and insurance jewellery and went over to take a look at my truck
Looked like it had lots of damage to it.
Which pissed me off because I had just driven from the repair shop up in the north east the truck was in excellent working order And i had been working the last couple of months on the body of the truck put on a front bumper and grill added black pvc flares on the wheel wells
And the damages to the other four cars was astounding. Those people now have to go through alot because this idiot decided to get drunk and rip through residential areas at excessive speeds.
I don’t have a vehicle now to do my handyman work for the various clients that I have all of the city because he decided to steal my vehicle and then destroy it.
I called my insurance company that evening, while I was waiting for a tow truck to show up , and found out that I I’m probably not covered because they didn’t tell me that the general auto insurance coverage i have with them doesn’t include theft. it’s an add-on package that they neglected to inform me of when i renewed last year. Now I have no compensation for what this guy did to me.
Because of this guys stupid childishness and risking killing people so that he could get drunk and go on a rampage and joy ride, means that I won’t be able to to work for my renovation clients.
I have to either get expensive repairs done on the truck or buy another vehicle. it’s not fair that I have to suffer like this because of that person.
My insurance company told me that night that I would have to even pay for my own tow truck $130+ dollars to get my damaged vehicle from the other victims front lawn in Dover and taken over to the parking area where I live in lynnwood.
I also was told by my insurance company that i wont be getting a rental car or anything and they will do nothing to reimburse me for the loss of my truck.
Please lock this guy up so he doesn’t go around doing this again and ruining other peoples lives.
I guess my only recourse would be to sue the guy in civil court but he probably doesn’t have any money to pay anything anyway.
The tow truck that I called didn’t end up getting there until 11:15 pm. By that time I was freezing in the cold as the temperature dropped a fair bit. Thank God he was nice enough to give me a Lift back to my place.
