We are looking to raise money to build an inclusive playground at Newhall infant & nursery school, those who know the background of Macie know just how important this is to us, Macie started life as a normal happy healthy baby only to wake up one day & have our lives turned upside down. Macie now has significant brain damage & quadriplegic cerebral palsy, this has left Her fully wheelchair dependant with no ability to walk, crawl or support herself in sitting. Macie is a happy, loving little girl with the most contagious smile that people fall in love with instantly & she doesn’t usually let anything phase her but recently not being able to do what her friends are doing & join in with them is really taking its toll as you can imagine! Myself & the school are wanting to raise money to build an inclusive playground, somewhere she can be safe, happy & play with her friends properly, somewhere she can feel somewhat normal, this won’t just benefit Macie it’ll benefit all the children at Newhall infants & all future children to! It’s my goal to make this happen but it isn’t as easy as it seems, special needs equipment is stupidly priced & after having quotes it’s looking like we need to raise around £15,000, that’s a lot of money but it will definitely be money well spent to watch macie have the freedom she desires. I am asking all of you to help us, even something as small as £1 or just a share would make a huge difference & any local businesses that want to get involved please message me, this means the world to us & it’ll make a very special little girl extremely happy!
