Affordable housing opportunities have compelled a number of young Jewish families to relocate near South La Cienega; thus, our diverse community was born. In just over five years, we have established a thriving synagogue with both Chabad and Sephardic Minyanim, founded a successful Jewish Montessori Preschool, and outgrown three locations.
We are now launching the next phase of our mission. Our goal is to erect the most unique, multifaceted Jewish community center in the Greater Los Angeles area, offering an expanded synagogue and preschool, fully functional social hall, and stand-alone Mikvah for women – in one inclusive structure.
We are very happy to share the news of the unbelievable miracle that we have experienced this Chanukah, and with HaShem's help we were able to close on the property right before Shabbot! Thank you so much to everyone who helped and generously contributed in all their ways to help make the miracle happen. However, closing was only half the battle and we now have much debt to pay off in a short time. Our first major deadline is January 11th. We need to raise $360,000 by that time.
We ask that you please continue to help any way you can. If you have donated already, we are forever grateful for your generous contribution and ask that you please share our campaign with whoever you know. If you haven't donated yet please watch our video and see what we are about. We also ask that you please consider helping out any way you can. If you can't donate, there is no shame in that but please at the very least we ask that you share our campaign with everyone you know.
