Theea's Animal Sanctuary Project - Phase 1

URGENT APPEAL TO SAVE 82 DOGS & 23 CATS
Your help is required to move 82 dogs and 23 cats to safety. They are being evicted on Friday 20 December 2019. If they are not relocated, the landowner will call the dog catcher who will take the dogs to the local kill shelter.
ABOUT THE ANIMALS
The animals have all been rescued by a 26 year old Romanian called Theea. Since Theea was a little girl, she has rescued sick, injured, abused and abandoned animals. She is the ‘Mother Theresa’ of the dog and cat world. Puppies are regularly abandoned without their mothers, dogs are ‘dropped off’ in the forest and left to die and dogs/cats are literally kicked out into the streets to fend for themselves in temperatures as low as -20. Animal abuse is commonplace in Romania and working with animals is considered a job of the lowest status. Theea studied finance at university and went into banking but soon realised her heart was not in the work and is now re-training to become a veterinary surgeon in Bucharest.
HOW YOUR DONATION WILL BE USED
A piece of land has been identified where a permanent animal sanctuary can be established. It will provide a safe haven for animals where they can receive food, shelter, medical treatment and love.
The initial phase of the project will be to purchase and secure the land. Robust fencing will be required as poisoning of dogs is a regular occurrence in Romania.
Some of Theea’s regular supporters have pledged funds so we are currently looking to raise £2,000.
Please help secure the future of these rescued animals by donating here or via bank transfer.
