A little backstory on Ca Do, 24...
As anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting Ca Do knows; he is one of the most kind, funny, sweet, helpful and caring people you will ever meet. If you had a bad day and needed someone to lean on, Ca is who you'd call. If you got a flat tire at 3:30 in the morning and needed someone to pick you up or help you change your tire, he's your man.  Basically, he is the kind of person that's always first to offer a hand, the kind who will cheer up a bad day and make you laugh like nobody's business. I first met back him in high school, on the bus. I was a scared little freshman who didn't know where to sit and right away he waved me over and let me sit by him. I was always so impressed by the way he treats people. It seemed like he knew every person in school by name, smiled at everyone, and treated every single person with kindness and respect. He played college football/rugby and got a degree at Azusa Pacific University, all while working to pay for his education.

Whats going on...
At the homecoming football game in 2009 at Liberty High School, Ca (being the badass football player that he is) got hit- he got hit hard and he immediatly knew something was wrong. He went to the doctor and they told  him that he has IgA Nephropathy and Severe Proteinuria- an immune disease which has the symptoms of a kidney disease as well. Ca is now heading towards kidney failure.

He will be undergoing chemotherapy treatments using Cytoxan.  It is a highly invasive drug. To start he will be going to treatment every other week, for 3 months. The chemotherapy will hopefully slow the disease down if not kick it into remission!

These treatments, tests, doctors appointments and medicine are extremely, extremely expensive and as Ca won't be able to work, he is strapped for money. As soon as this Friday, he will have a $1000 medical bill due. Ca is the last person to ever ask for help and he was very resistant at first in allowing me to make him this, but he needs these treatments and so he needs our help. If you know Ca, you know he would give his last dollar and the shirt off of his back to help someone out, so I'm hoping we can raise money to help take some of the burden off his shoulders! We want him to be able to focus on his health and not have to stress every day about bills piling up.

The treatments are projected to be over $20,000+. Anything helps, even if its just a $1. I know 20k is a hefty amount but I know he'll be so appreciative of anything. We understand money can be tight so if you can't afford it, please just send Ca some prayers and good thoughts. If anyone has any questions or you'd like to help in other ways- taking Ca to chemo/appts, just hanging out with him there, food, or anything at all please feel free to message me! His 25th birthday is January 26th so lets try to give him a good birthday present :) We appreciate this more thank you guys will ever know!

Thank you :)
