The Doctor's In Urgent Care has been providing healthcare to those in the Hampton Roads area for 13 years. We operate independently without any corporate support, under our sole leader Dr. David Werwath. In order to make patients healthcare experience better, we are asking our families, friends and those willing to make a donation to better our clinic.
We are looking to raise $10,000 to pay for various, necessary medical equipment. This includes: new blood pressure machines, trauma stretcher, additional electrical medical table, etc; the cost of an electrical medical table is $5,000 alone.
The funds raised would mean a lot not only to our staff, but to the patients of the clinic. We work with a lot of serious health conditions in patients, including cancer, anxiety, weight loss, etc. Some of the patients are not able to work due to their health condition and thus are on a very limited budget. Raising rates would only make their treatment that much harder to obtain, which goes against everything that we are and every goal we try to obtain for our patients... which is to increase quality of life.
