After a long term illness, Steve lost his life to Frontotemporal Degeneration on October 17, 2015, leaving his wife of 33 years, and his two beloved young daughters, Allison and Leanna, behind. This has been a difficult journey for this family, and they are overcome with sadness at the loss of their incredibly loving, talented, creative, funny and intelligent husband and father. Additionally, my friend, the loving supportive wife of Stephen has been dealing with her own medical battles with cancer and one of their daughters has challenging learning disabilities and will need special care for the rest of her life. The other daughter is hoping to attend college next year.
Please help us reach out and support them in their time of profound loss. Your donations will be used to help them financially, to pay multiple bills that have accumulated due to both his illness and the loss of his wife's job, due to her need to be home with him as his full time caregiver this past year. The family has many needs, urgent among them, the ability to safeguard their home from loss due to the current property tax sale status as well as keeping food on their table.
This plea for this family is extremely humiliating for them as they are very proud, honest, hardworking with complete trust in their faith that the Lord will rescue them and give them strength to endure.
After urgent needs are met, any funds remaining will be used for future education costs for their daughters. As a long time teacher, we know that Steve was particularly concerned about the education.
We thank you very much for helping us to allow Steve’s survivors to have some peace of mind as they make their way in life without their husband and daddy.
