A Call to Prayer and Action
Hello,
I would first off like to say thank you for your continued prayers and faith in my ministry here at The Cypher Spot. I would like to inform you that as a ministry I feel that we are blossoming greatly. This past year we've been able to be used by God in many ways that we would of never of imagined. Being able to perform at many venues while preaching the gospel and sharing the love of Christ. Secular venues where sin and immorality is put front and center and encouraged, we were able to share the gospel right in our piece; community shows, where through a positive and family friendly venue we were still able to reflect that we were set apart and that Christ was the difference; and Christian conferences and events, showing people that God can call you to a higher calling that you may never would have imagined. Our studio life has been amazing bringing in more and more families each week. In the past 2 months I've seen our student attendance double, giving these kids and families a place to come a be fed creatively, positively, and spiritually. We've been a place for spiritual gatherings, a location where people from Japan, New Zealand, Canada, San Francisco, Scotland, and many other places have come and felt the spirit of God, we have given a home for artists who are trying to better their art for the glory of God. We've worked with churches, organizations, and the community to uplift and reach people in a positive and Godly way. This ministry strives to and will continue to strive to fulfill God's will and build up this city and community we call home.
Our ministry is blossoming but our studio is failing. This is a call to prayer and action. I regret to inform you that with the start of the year we saw a huge decline in donations and partnerships to the studio in the midst of our largest growth in attendees. I make sure to work 40 to 50 hours a week outside of the studio so that we are not as dependent on these donations, however the studio is behind in rent and is facing eviction. I know God is not done with this ministry and if it is His will we will not lose this building. But I desperately need your help.
1st. I ask for your prayer. we have many children and families who have made this ministry a vital part of their life and for the studio to lose its location means they lose a home. Giving the opportunities that we do here means the world to many of these kids and parents. Occupying their mines with positivity and love, and being able to preach hope into their lives. I ask that above all that you pray that these kids are taken care of, they are the reason I do this. Second to the kids, I ask that you pray for the studio as we are in this uncertain time.
2nd. I ask for your action. If you have any available funds to partner with this amazing ministry and studio I ask for that this be the moment you take that step. I know God is moving in this building and I'm excited to see more of His steps but I can only do so much.
The studio is a month behind in rent (January's Rent to be exact). Our building's rent is just under a $1 per foot bringing it to $2,375. This last month's rent that I sent on the 1st only had $150 of donations added to it so that plus my outside work, I still came up $695 short in rent. That is a total of $3,070 That my landlord needs.
I know this is a lot, but I ask that you pray over any amount that you give to the ministry and that God's will is done. With or without this studio, the ministry of The Cypher Spot is not over and I will continue to trust and pursue God's will with it.
