Hello patrons of the arts!

My name is Jason Gorman and I am an artist based in Los Angeles, CA. I am a dancer and choreographer with over 19 years of experience in the professional industry. I am starting a new adventure with film and need your help with my very first project! I am making a short film titled The Crying Room. Below you can find a short description of the concept as well as some visual aids to give you an idea of what the film will look and feel like.  I have an amazing team on board! Your contributions to the project will help compensate the artists and pay for the space we will be filming in. Any amount to help us reach our goal is greatly appreciated and there will be some fun incentives for those who donate!


The Crying Room. An underground club (one of many?) in the not so distant future designed to allow its patrons to observe and emotionally interact with it’s performers to “feel something” for a nominal fee.


The short follows a handsome young drifter who has an emotionally transformative experience with one of the club’s performers. Through the course of their interaction, the young man zips through a range of emotions, spurred on by the colorful and sometimes absurd performances of the dancer.
