On Tuesday August 4th, 2015, a fire completely destroyed a favorite-local bar, The Namakagon Chief ("The Chief") on Lake Namakagon in Cable Wisconsin. The Chief was also the personal residence of our friend & bar owner Eric Anderson.  While the business was insured, Eric's personal property and possessions were not.  He lost everything.  We are all thankful there was no loss of life or injuries.

The Chief has been in business for many years, but it's been run by the Anderson family for the past 25 years.  It provided a very warm, welcoming meet up place for many out-of-towners and locals in the area.  We will all miss it very much.
