Cari amici, sostenitori e amanti dell’ammucchiata culturale,

Nel corso degli anni, TheBunch è cresciuta da un sogno che aveva radici nella nostra città natale, Biella, in una comunità culturale "nomade" che si sposta di città in città, portando l'arte nei luoghi dove può davvero fare la differenza. Abbiamo iniziato questo viaggio con un sogno semplice ma potente: creare uno spazio dove arte e comunità potessero incontrarsi e trasformarsi a vicenda.

Poi siamo approdati a Torre Faro, Messina, dove il mare e le persone ci hanno accolto, dimostrandoci quanto potente possa essere l’unione tra territorio, cultura e creatività. Ogni anno, ci spostiamo in una nuova città di piccole o medie dimensioni per ascoltarne le storie, intrecciarle con le nostre e trasformarle insieme. Ogni luogo che tocchiamo è un'opportunità di crescita reciproca, dove possiamo condividere esperienze artistiche e culturali che arricchiscono sia noi che le comunità che ci ospitano.

Se oggi TheBunch Festival può arrivare alla sua terza edizione, è anche grazie a chi, anno dopo anno, ha creduto in noi e ha reso tutto questo possibile. Ogni donazione delle scorse edizioni ha contribuito a far crescere una comunità che continua a espandersi, creando legami, opportunità e trasformazione reale.

Quest’anno, per la terza edizione del nostro festival, ci dirigiamo a Ripatransone, un borgo medievale immerso nel cuore delle Marche, conosciuto come il "Belvedere del Piceno". Con circa 4.400 abitanti, Ripatransone è stata proclamata Città del Sollievo, un riconoscimento che celebra il suo impegno verso il benessere e la tranquillità dei suoi cittadini. Qui, dal 19 al 21 settembre 2025, il festival sarà dedicato al valore del tempo, della lentezza e della condivisione.

Ma TheBunch non è solo un festival.

È anche un percorso di ricerca condivisa che prende forma nelle settimane precedenti all’evento attraverso una residenza artistica: un’esperienza immersiva che coinvolge un gruppo misto di artistə e non artistə che, a partire dal territorio che li accoglie, portano avanti un processo conoscitivo collettivo. L'obiettivo non è solo osservare, ma lasciare una traccia, una testimonianza viva dell’esperienza.

Nel 2024, la residenza è avvenuta in collaborazione con la Fondazione Antonio Presti e ha dato vita al cortometraggio Viaggiare nella maionese.

Oltre a essere un festival, TheBunch è una piattaforma aperta a progetti emergenti, che dà visibilità a idee nuove e in fase di sviluppo, spesso difficili da far emergere. Vogliamo sostenere chi ha una visione, ma fatica a trovare lo spazio per farla crescere. Se hai un progetto embrionale e hai bisogno di un piccolo aiuto per realizzarlo, TheBunch è il posto giusto dove farlo fiorire.

I fondi raccolti saranno utilizzati per:

- Sostenere i costi di produzione: artisti, spazi, materiali e logistica per realizzare il festival a Ripatransone.

- Rimborso spese per i nostri artisti: trasporti, alloggio per più di 30 artisti provenienti da tutta Italia e dall’estero.

- Attività di coinvolgimento della comunità locale: iniziative artistiche, workshop e attività che stimolano la partecipazione diretta dei residenti.

- Promozione del festival: far conoscere l'evento e coinvolgere un pubblico sempre più vasto.

Dear friends, supporters and lovers of the cultural bunch,

Over the years, TheBunch has grown from a dream rooted in our hometown of Biella into a 'nomadic' cultural community that moves from city to city, taking art to places where it can really make a difference. We began this journey with a simple but powerful dream: to create a space where art and community could meet and transform each other.

Then we landed in Torre Faro, Messina, where the sea and the people welcomed us, showing us how powerful the union between territory, culture and creativity can be. Every year, we move to a new small or medium-sized city to listen to its stories, intertwine them with our own and transform them together. Every place we touch is an opportunity for mutual growth, where we can share artistic and cultural experiences that enrich both us and our host communities.

If today TheBunch Festival can reach its third edition, it is also thanks to those who, year after year, have believed in us and made all this possible. Every donation in the past editions has contributed to the growth of a community that continues to expand, creating links, opportunities and real transformation.

This year, for the third edition of our festival, we head to Ripatransone, a medieval village nestled in the heart of the Marche region, known as the “Belvedere del Piceno”. With around 4,400 inhabitants, Ripatransone has been proclaimed Città del Sollievo (“City of Relief”), a recognition that celebrates its commitment to the well-being and tranquillity of its citizens. Here, from 19 to 21 September 2025, the festival will be dedicated to the value of time, slowness and sharing.

But TheBunch is not just a festival.

It is also a path of shared research that takes shape in the weeks leading up to the event through an artistic residency: an immersive experience involving a mixed group of artists and non-artists who, starting from the territory that welcomes them, carry out a collective cognitive process. The aim is not just to observe, but to leave a trace, a living testimony of the experience.

In 2024, the residency took place in collaboration with the Antonio Presti Foundation and resulted in the short film Viaggiare nella maionese ("Travelling in Mayonnaise").

In addition to being a festival, TheBunch is a platform open to emerging projects, giving visibility to new and developing ideas that are often difficult to bring to the fore. We want to support those who have a vision but struggle to find the space to make it grow. If you have an embryonic project and need a little help to make it happen, TheBunch is the right place to make it flourish.
