I’m Lizzy Norton, owner of The Book Bug, a youth-led small business dedicated to sharing books and spreading the love of reading in my community.

This fall, we celebrated our 10,000th book shared in Thomaston! Now we need your support to keep going.

Donations made through our nonprofit partner, For the Love of Reading, go directly toward purchasing books for our Read & Share program. This is the FREE BOOK booth that you may have seen at community events like Mule Days.

Your donation helps us get more books into the community so that everyone can find books they love. Expanding book access also helps improve literacy rates and strengthens communities by reducing unemployment, improving health outcomes, and fostering greater civic engagement and economic stability.

Thank you for helping me spread the love of reading, one book at a time!
