The Black Bean Cafe in Rollinsford NH needs your help!
On Wednesday April 29th, The Bean had a kitchen fire. The fire was contained and no one was injured, but damages and clean-up have forced the restaurant to close temporarily. As a result, a significant amount of revenue and wages have been lost.
To reopen this local eatery as soon as possible, kitchen equipment, food, inventory and supplies need to be replaced. Insurance has only partially covered losses.
Owners Phil Hughes and Liz Williams opened the first Black Bean Cafe a little less than twelve years ago just down the street from where the current Bean is now located. Their offerings of fresh food locally sourced when possible and prepared at affordable prices, have made this a popular go-to place for both locals and visitors. On behalf of The Black Bean, Phil and Elizabeth have contributed much to their community in the way of sponsorship, gift certificates etc. and has supported local student musicians by hosting open mics. Now they need your support.
Please consider helping out. Any donations are gratefully appreciated! Let's help get The Black Bean back on it's feet so it can continue to provide a place to for the community to go for great food and to visit with a friend or a neighbor.
