The Beyond — A Cinematic Automotive Passion Project

Hi, I’m Asua, a filmmaker with over a decade of experience directing commercials for global brands.

For years, I’ve brought other people’s visions to life. But like many filmmakers, I’ve always had a dream of creating something of my own — a project that reflects the stories, worlds, and aesthetics I love most.

For me, that’s two things: cars and sci-fi.

The Beyond is a cinematic passion project I’ve dreamed about making for years — and now, it’s finally happening.

We’ve already filmed the majority of the live-action sequences in Queenstown, New Zealand, featuring the Porsche GT4 RS. The production was made possible with the support of Reel NZ, Overview NZ, 5AM productions and award-winning cinematographer Ross Metcalf (I Am Mother).

We’ve already managed to reduce some production costs, but we still need support to finish the film properly.

Extensive computer-generated imagery to create the futuristic world of The Beyond.

High-end cameras, lighting, and gear needed to maintain a cinematic look.

Stunt Team — $2,000

Professional stunt performers to execute safe, dynamic driving sequences.

Studio Hire — $1,500

Studio space for controlled filming and key sequences.

Color Grading — $1,000

Professional color work to craft the visual tone of the film.
