Donate: The Best of Us/MegaFest2015

Nakeia Council-Daniels was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY.  She holds a BA in Organizational Management, an MBA in arketing and is a current PhD candidate, expecting to obtain her doctorate degree spring by 2018.

Attending the famed Laguardia High School of Music and Arts & The Performing Arts, her artistic nature was molded, laying a strong foundation for the love of art, music, literature, and theatre she still has today.

A vocalist, poet, actor, writer and now author, of her debut novel The Best of Us - Part One, Nakeia believes that a world absent of art is no world at all. Her lifelong dream is to open a center for literacy where children are taught the joys of reading, writing and using words to paint their imaginations with pen and paper.
