THE BEARDED BAKER FLOOD RELIEF
We are reaching out to the beautiful community in an urgent plea for help.
The Bearded Bakery situated in Tumbulgum on the riverfront, have lost everything in the recent floods following the aftermath of Cyclone Debbie.
This hardworking family have not only lost their business but also the contents of their family home. The Bearded Bakery is the only source of income for this family.
The devestation is beyond anything anyone could have ever imagined
Mitch, Nicola and their beautiful daughter Korah open their doors each and everyday to the Community of Tumbulgum and everyone can agree that when you walk into this Bakery you get more then your bread and coffee, always a warm smile and a heartfelt conversation. This shop is more then a Bakery, but somewhere the community goes to catch up with friends & neighbours, anytime of the day you will run into someone and you can have a chat and unwind. The Bearded Bakery brings people together.
The photo's just do not do this natural distaster any justice, but as you can see from the devastating picture this whole bakery was under water.
The Tumbulgum Community has banded together to get this shop up and operating, but unfortunately somethings cannot be fixed without repurchasing & costly repairs.
We are now asking all our gorgeous family and friends if they can please spare anything, to donate to their fund and we will be forever eternally grateful.
All money raised will go towards buying new equipment needed for their bakery to get them up and running for the tight-knit community of Tumbulgum.
The Community support up to this point has been nothing short of amazing and we the community of Tumbulgum are very humbled.
Mitch and Nicola are extremelly generous people who are so worried about everyone else and we know that without the Community coming together, financially they just cannot do this alone.
Thank you in advanced for your contribution, it means more than we can put into words.
