In January 2017 Natasha and Matt found out there were pregnant with their second child. When Natasha went in for the ultrasound and found out they were having twins.
In March, they found out they had lost one of the twins. From this, stemmed many complications.
In Natasha's case, she then suffered a very rare, twin molar pregnancy. This situation had turned very high risk.
The risk of cancer, a hysterectomy, and many other serious medical complications in the future were inevitable. The risk of losing the healthy twin was too a worry.
On April 11, 2017 Natasha had to make the life-saving, yet tough and life-altering decision to terminate her pregnancy.
Natasha was able to go home the next day. She and Matt thought they could have the time to mourn the loss of their daughter, who they had decided on the name Amelia.
Within 24 hours, they had realized that something was wrong, Natasha was then admitted back into the hospital for severe abdominal pain. While in the hospital, she underwent a blood transfusion, due to low hemoglobin levels. Since the transfusion she is still currently in the hospital and the doctors have found an issue with her thyroid which may have to be removed.
Natasha and Matt have a son, Ayden, who will be 2 years old in September. Currently, due to a transition into a new career, they are without insurance. Natasha has been in and out of the hospital over the last few weeks, and with all of the specialized care she has required, the medical expenses have and will begin to add up. Matt has had to take several days off of work, to be at the hospital with his wife.
Any donation will help and be appreciated and will go to paying all of the medical expenses they have and will incur.
