This fundraiser is dedicated to honoring the life and legacy of our dear friend, Bastian Marvin Dariush Soheily.

The initial funds raised will go toward covering funeral proceedings and memorial arrangements both overseas in Spain with his parents as well as a memorial service being held in Bozeman Montana, ensuring he is celebrated with the dignity and love he deserves.

While our first and immediate priority is getting his precious and sentimental belongings as well as his remains to his family in Spain, we believe because Bastian was so adored and loved by so many people across the world, it feels only right to hold an additional celebration of life for him in the states where all who knew him will be welcome to celebrate his life, reminisce on memories, and mourn his loss together and we believe that Bozeman is the best place for that.

After those two priorities have been handled, moving forward, this fundraiser and any remaining and future contributions will transition towards and be placed into

“The Bastian Project”, a foundation created by his loved ones in his name to turn grief into action and protect others from similar loss.

The Bastian Project will partner with organizations & individuals that provide music festivals, concerts, and local businesses & venues with Narcan and drug testing kits, helping to reduce the risks of accidental overdose and empower communities with life saving tools. Looking ahead, the foundation also aspires to expand into offering financial aid for men’s mental health and addiction services, ensuring that those who are struggling have access to the resources and support they need.

Through this foundation, Bastian’s memory will live on, not only in the hearts of those who loved him, but also in the lives saved and supported by the “The Bastian Project”

So, to reiterate how funds will be allocated

Immediate needs: Funeral costs, transporting his remains and belongings to his family in Spain 

(Bastian’s family is providing funds for the most of these expenses so the majority of donations will be going towards the causes below)

Memorial service: Celebration of life in Bozeman for friends and loved ones in the U.S. 

Legacy fund: Seed money for 

‘The Bastian Project’ to provide Narcan, drug testing kits, and men’s addiction/mental health support
