On September 17, 2022, the bright light of Zoe Jelinek was taken from us. As many know, Zoe spent the previous year in Livingstone, Zambia, at the Maher Christian Academy. She reveled in her role as a preschool teacher and adopted each of “her” kids as her own. To honor this vibrant, beautiful, fierce woman, her parents are establishing the Zoe Jelinek Memorial Foundation. All contributions to this GoFundMe will be transferred to the Foundation which is in the process of applying for 501(c)(3) nonprofit status and, upon approval, contributions will be retroactively tax deductible. The money will be used to realize one of Zoe’s dreams: to support education in the country that captured her heart.
