On Nov. 19, 2015 our son Ezra was killed in a terrorist attack in Israel. As a way of celebrating Ezra’s Birthday (Oct. 1,) and his life, my brother Peter and I have started an annual tradition of returning to spectacular places where Ezra had been. While we celebrate Ezra’s life, we will also be raising money for One Family (Onefamilytogether.org). An organization in Israel which supports victims of terror and flies our children to Israel for bereavement camps to meet and have fun with other children who have experienced their own tragedy.
This year, a group of friends will be running together on Sept 15th in Yosemite National Park. Peter and I will be joined by our mother, Heni Schwartz. Our team this year includes, Naomi Gable, Lauren Stark, Josh Tenzer, Dov Gertzulin, and Andrea Wolf from Englewood, New Jersey. David Katz, Sheldon Hanau, Daniel Rosen, from Sharon, Massachusetts and Noam Drazin and Ivan Wolkind from Los Angeles.
As is our tradition we are asking only for donations of $18 per person. To Life! We would like as many people as possible to be a part of this fundraiser. In the last 2 years we have raised $26,000. Please help us help One Family.
