The YES Project goes to the balkans

In the Summer of 2019, The YES Project is taking 25 young people on a life-changing trip to Serbia and Macedonia, and we need your support! Youth will live with and learn from traditional musicians in both countries, and participate in 2 music festivals.

By donating to this effort, you are supporting young people's joyful, rigorous practice of ensemble music, and helping build life-changing connections between youth of different cultures, religions, continents, languages, and socio-economic strata.

A grounding principle of this project is that we all go, or we don’t go. We are collectively raising enough money to cover the entire project cost, so that every young person who has committed to participating in Project Yes can take part.  We've already raised a big chunk from our closest supporters; we need your help to finish the job. A bonus: when you contribute via this Go Fund me site your contribution is tax deductible, thanks to the East European Folklife Center, which has generously offered to act as a fiscal sponsor for this project.

If we can't raise the funds we need for all of us to go, you'll be refunded your contribution.
