Hello, family and friends! This is Amber Newsome Randle. I am reaching out to ask for your support during this challenging time for my dear sister, Ashley and brother-in-law, Courtney Thomas.
After years of infertility, Ashley and Courtney were finally able to conceive their miracle baby this spring. Although due in November, their miracle baby, Deacon Isaac Thomas decided to come early at only 23 weeks. He weighs 1 pound 7 ounces, and he is 13 inches long. Deacon has a long journey ahead, but he is already proving to be a fighter. The NICU has told them to anticipate Deacon staying in the hospital until the end of October.
Friends and family have been reaching out to ask how they can support Ashley and Courtney, so we are setting up this page to help alleviate some of the financial stress. Your donations will go directly towards covering the medical expenses, travel costs (round trips from Birmingham hospital to their home in Tuscaloosa), and any other needs that may arise as they navigate this challenging journey.
