The Year of Hope: Emma's Vocation

My dear friends,

It is with a very full heart that I share with you the news that I will be entering postulancy with the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist on August 30th of this year. Praise God!

In this, the Jubilee Year of Hope, I am taking the next step in my discernment of a Religious Vocation! The Year of Hope has been an incredible theme for me to be reflecting on and living out as I have been listening to the Lord and following Him where He is calling. In God’s goodness, He has placed this desire on my heart, and it is my greatest joy to pursue His will. God’s will is our joy!

In order for me to pursue this vocation, I first have to be free of my student debt. The amount remaining on my loans (the goal of this campaign) is too large for me to pay off on my own before my entrance date of August 30th, so I humbly turn to you, friends and benefactors, to support my journey. If you're able to support me at any amount, it would be a true gift.

Please also pray for me! Know that I will be praying for you, and that myself and the Dominican sisters will pray for our benefactors every single day for the rest of our lives (true story).
