Since her diagnosis with Stage IV Adenocarcinoma Lung Cancer in 2017, Liu has bravely faced her diagnosis with the optimism and determination that she is best known for. It has been a long journey but she has reached the point that her body just can't take anymore. She has said she is not afraid to die, but knows that when her pain ends, all of ours begins. Selfless.
Her greatest sadness is leaving behind her husband of ten years, Shawn, and her children, Max 8 and Abbey 6. She worries about their future and wants only the best for them. To help alleviate her stress and at the request of many of her friends whom have reached out, this GoFundMe account has been set up. Liu's family will use this money to help with medical bills and funeral expenses, with the remainder going into college funds for Max and Abbey (this is what she is most adamant about.)
