OUR GOAL:
We are a team of film professionals based in Albuquerque, New Mexico producing a psychological horror that explores the dark, often suffocating worlds of creative obsession, purpose and identity.
A novel writer descends into madness as a familiar dark entity feeds on their failures and insecurities. Their fractured relationship with their partner unravels and the lines between reality and fiction blur, pushing them to confront the truth.
"What I want to do with 'The Writer' is portray an honest, real, grounded character that’s dealing with a lot of internal things separate from the external element of the shadow entity that haunts them. There’s a pressure that every artist lives with. I think writers must have it the worst." - Michelle Adriana Martinez, Director/Producer
