The Wreath Guy Transmission replacement
Donation protected
Most folks around this area have either seen "The Wreath Guy" signs and/or have bought these amazing wreaths. He(David) is often at the Grandin Co-op. The time and effort that goes into gathering material and making these wreaths is a lot. And yet, because he wants to have them available to all, he only charges $20/wreath! And this price has not changed in years.
That being said, I just found out his transmission in his truck has gone out and he is needing to replace it. Because he is not a complainer, the only reason I found out, was I asked him if he wanted to come to my house and see if there was anything he could use for his wreaths from my yard and I got into his truck to show him the way. He apologized for not being able to go into 3rd or 4th gear and told me he needs to replace the transmission. This being said, I have set up a gofundme to help him. I am thinking there are many that would be happy to give a few dollars for the cause, since anywhere else these wreaths would sell for $45-$100.
So, if you would like to contribute a few dollars to his situation, it would be greatly appreciated. Since he is only able to make about 12 wreaths a day, the transmission replacement is going to eat up all his profit from this season's sales. Thank you so much for your support!
