Later this month, Saturday 18th November 2023, Sharon & Adrian from Rotary Club Basel International (RCBI), Sarah, Alex & Christian from Rotaract Basel and Heike from Basel am Rhein will participate in the 40th BaslerStadtlauf to raise money for Rotary’s World Wide Project - the eradication of Polio virus.

Since 1988 Polio cases have been reduced by 99.9%! However, until it’s eradicated every child remains at risk (mostly affecting children under 5 years old). That’s why we need to continue to fundraise to provide the vaccinations and people to those countries where it’s not freely available. This website provides a concise explanation www.endpolio.org.
