The mission is to create social change through cultural understanding and education, creating an inclusive society free of racially motivated bullying, cultural misunderstanding, and racism in general. Through this book series, targeted at junior primary students, teachers, and parents, it is to highlight cultural differences and create inclusivity, understanding and acceptance. The objective is to promote social cohesion by creating children’s reading books and teacher resources that can be used to provoke questions that will help create a focus on culture and the beauty within the diversity present in society.

‘The World is our playground’ series is a project to produce a ten-part book series. The objective is to create cultural understanding and enhancing teacher resources available for the purpose of creating sociability, reducing racially motivated bullying occurring both in and out of schools, breaking down cultural barriers and stereotypes. It focuses on junior primary-aged students, encouraging a world free from misunderstanding, fear and prejudice and fostering awareness, strengthening a positive outlook on the richness of cultural diversity, and creating human interaction essential in our society.

The aim is to help enhance cultural education, which creates effective communication, which in turn helps create peace, positivity, and a sense of belonging. It provides a resource to create social change through cultural education.

The more that is raised, the more countries we can cover using Educational Reading comprehension as a resource, unpacking vocabulary and enhancing cultural cohesion.
