The Woofing Lot - Canine Development Program

Hi, my name is Natalie and I'm raising funds to create a 'one stop shop' for dog owners an indoor Canine Development Program /dog park with a coffee shop and Groomers to exercise with your dogs in a safe secure unit (you stay with your dog to play, train, and socialize whichever you prefer) I am currently looking for collaborations with dog trainers/ behavourists, Looking for a Groomer who wants to upscale and rent space inside the unit. Flynns will be renting the Coffee shop, she currently has a pitch in Singleton Park and also does festivals and markets. The first attempt at applying for the pre-business grant from Swansea council was successful but was unable to draw down on the money awarded before Jaunary 31st 2025. So I am about to apply for it again as of 28/03/25 towards turning this 14,200 sq ft unit into 3 arenas, building a coffee shop and groomers, storage, hygiene area.

The money raised will go towards the spend of the outfit of the unit, making sure its safe and secure.

1. polyurethane resin flooring will be laid on one half of the unit creating the flooring for 2 of the arenas, this will ensure no smells, and be hygienic

2. commercial vinyl will be laid on the other half servicing the puppy arena, coffee shop , Groomers and entrance

3. Build of Groomers, separate entranceway/exit , coffee shop, staff toilet, storage , hygiene area (washing out of water bowls, disposing of dirty water from mop buckets)

4. plumbing works

6. Build of the barriers for the arenas and a moveable divide to make either arena smaller or bigger or pushed right back to open the 2 arenas into 1
