Hi, my name is Eric Kabera, a producer and director who has been making films for the past 28 years.

I make films that educate and empower. I have been making films on the Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda for the past 25 years.

One of my recent t documentary films is titled the woman in me, a film that pays tribute to the life and journey of an African Woman, with a particular focus on the Rwandan woman emancipation program that has shaped the Rwandan society today. This brings to life the challenges and aspirations experienced through the lenses of the very few women we have spoken to.

The result is this poetic and artistically well-presented film that we want to share with the rest of the world. We are in the last phase of post-production and wish to have your contribution; in return, we will thank you on the credit list and send you the film link when completed.

This painful story is interwoven with a poetic and visual representation of other women who are pushing boundaries in the empowerment movement of our times. We also observe the political and social analysis of the challenges to African society in the context of women’s emancipation movements worldwide.
