The Winding River Ranch Fire Relief Fund
Donation protected
As many of you know, the wildfires in Colorado took a turn towards Grand Lake last night. The Winding River Ranch was in the path of the fire, and all buildings were burned to the ground. This event venue and the animal sanctuary were destroyed; however, all of the animals, Granny, Travis, Kristin, and their staff, are all safe.
Granny, aka Elaine Busse, dreamed of owning a ranch, and when she first visited Winding River Ranch in 1964, she knew this would be her forever home. The ranch's beauty and the peaceful setting stole her heart. After purchasing the ranch, she went to work, making the ranch what it was until yesterday, a beautiful, welcoming guest ranch with rustic elegance.
Anyone who ever met Granny or Travis left feeling like a member of their family. We are asking for help to rebuild their ranch and Granny's home. Rebuild the memories of so many who have said their vows, a place to heal and a place where rescue animals could find a forever home.
