The Willow Suite at St John’s Hospital Livingston

Hi I’m raising funds for a really important cause

we as a family recently suffered a stillbirth our daughter was 5 months when we had a scan and were told there was no heart beat

there is a suite in the hospital that is given to you as a family just after you have that scan if it’s bad news and that is your room all the way through Labour, delivery and afterwards until you feel ready to leave, we had this room for about 4 days

the room has beds for you and family, chairs, dining area, tv ect but it does need more funding to get recliner chairs/couches into the room to make it more comfy for families staying there

my whole family were allowed to stay the entire time which was so helpful and supportive.

the midwife that runs the room tries to fundraise for everything herself or tries to raise funds and because of the care we received and how much we are grateful for that room being there we would like to help raise more funds for the suite

we had our baby girls funeral a few days ago and raised £427 but it would really like to try to raise a decent amount that can be used for the recliners as this is really needed and we have had family and friends say they could and would like to donate online so I’ve made this go fund me so it’s easier for them
