The Will and Clark Show Short Film

Hi everyone,

My name is Chase Gutzmore, an Atlanta-based Actor/filmmaker. I have been acting for well over a decade. I recently began writing and producing my own films in order to further explore my creative side, and as a way to give myself and my collaborators exposure.

Filmmaking is by far the best decision I've ever made as an artist. My films have opened so many doors for me, including signing with agents, winning awards, and getting to the opprtunity to act in films by other talented filmamkers. My previous films "Standing Ovation" ,"What Divides Us", and "The Show Must Go On" have gone on to screen at multiple prestigious, and Oscar-Qualifying film festivals across the world including the Pan African Film Festival (Winner of The Best Actor Award) Bronzelens Film Festival, Halifax Black Film Festival, Toronto Black Film Festval. Jellyfest Film Festival(Winner of The Best Actor Award) Detroit Black Film Festival (Winner of Best Drama Short) and many more.

My next film "The Will and Clark Show" is perhaps my favorite script I've written thus far. It's a story I've been brewing up for over a year now and one I feel extremely confident about. Me and my team are very confident that with the right budget, we can make this project very special and unique.

This project is produced by actors. We are creating our own roles and not waiting around for Hollywood to take notice in our talents.

Synopsis.

Will Darby and Clark Stepson are gearing up to become the first gay couple to headline their highly anticipated mainstream talk show. But first, they must appear on LIVE! with Vanessa Mills to debunk a certain rumor that is derailing their momentum. That is until a sudden text message changes everything for them….
