The Wilkersons’ Surgery Rest and Recovery

Hello! We’re the Wilkersons, and we’re in need of some help.

August 27 was a trip to Memphis for our daughter’s CT scan for her lungs. We made the day out of it and got home late. Then I (Ashton) started feeling extreme pain in my torso while being sick. An ER visit that was shortly an admission never felt so long in my life. Long story short, I had a gallstone attack and it was recommended we go ahead with surgery. It was a success and the right call after the doctor looked at it.

Now we’re at home healing and taking it easy. However, due to my status at work, I don’t qualify for my own short term disability or qualify under my husband’s insurance for it. So for the next two weeks, I’m not getting paid, and we still have bills, groceries, etc. that need to happen to survive.

Please help us reach our goal so that we’re able to still have a roof over our heads, warm food in our stomachs, and an ease of mind while I try to focus on rest and recovery. Thank you!
