The White Bicycle,Sharing Education

The White Bicycle is a project about giving back to ones roots and helping those less fortunate than us. Started by Ginger Slentz with support from the Lan Narthasin Thai Dance Group, the goal is to build schools and provide education to impoverished children living in the hill tribes of Chiang Rai, Thailand. Currently construction on the first school has already begun and our plan is to finish it as our 1 year goal. This will cost an additional $10,000 that we will fundraise. After the actual structure is built we have plans to furnish, provide clean water, and solar power for the school providing a center point for the village.
This will be our 2nd year going back to the village to bring food, funds, and view the progress. We are working with the support of Rotary International.
