On Monday, July 10, 2023, Vermont experienced its worst flooding since 1927, leaving behind catastrophic damage including the total loss of the home of our beloved family members Addie, Alex, and Ben Wheeler.

The family was forced to emergently evacuate their home for their safety, leaving behind all their worldly belongings, thinking they would be returning in a few hours.

Addie and her family lost their home and most of their belongings to this devastating flood on Monday, as well as a large supply of critical medical supplies needed for their son Ben, who has Type 1 Diabetes.

This family will use the funds to restock Ben's medications and equipment, pay insurance deductibles and get what they need to rebuild their home.
