The Wheeler Family #InThisTogether

Donation protected
Shanna Wheeler is shortly going home to be with her Savior. We would like to help ease this transition for Shanna, Brandon, and her family. Shanna has been fighting for two years with grace and dignity. She is the mother of 10 children and has fostered over 40 more. She loves hard and fierce. Her children have already lost so much and now they are facing another. Please open your hearts, share and donate.

Brandon’s words are a tribute to his amazing wife. “Next month we will celebrate 23 years of marriage. Sadly we received the news this weekend that this will probably be our last one together on this earth. Shanna’s cancer has spread and is very aggressive. We will take these next three to six months that we are blessed with and celebrate. I truly feel like the luckiest man to have had her by my side and to get to spend eternity with her. She is the strongest person I know. It has been so hard to watch her battle cancer for the last two years. She has done it with the grace and strength that she has done everything in her life with. My heart is broken but full. We have been blessed with amazing peace and comfort. This life is a very small part of eternity and I am grateful that I know this is true and that we were married in the temple for time and all eternity. She has been my rope and strength and sure has made me a better man. It’s been an honor to be by her side all these years. Having been a witness to the type of instrument she has been in the hand of the Lord here in mortality I can only imagine what He has in store for her up there. Never has she back away from a challenge. Never a rapid she was scared of. We’ve had over 40 children in our home that she has loved and nurtured as her own. I have lived my life in amazement watching her do what she does. She knows that she will still be around assisting from a heavenly perspective. When I say me and Shanna are at peace it is true. I ask that you pray for and love my kids. That was the hardest conversation of my life yesterday telling them about the results and the time we have left with their sweet mother. The majority of our children have been traumatized by being separated from their biological parents already and don’t truly have the understanding that we will be together forever. We have experienced every type of emotions from them. Please keep them in your prayers. We plan to celebrate the next few months. We hope to get our new house finished and moved in and make more memories with here. I have never loved or been loved so strongly in my life than by her. Watching her suffer and not being able to do anything has been so hard. The greatest comfort I have is knowing the only scars in heaven will be the on the hands that will hold her soon. Shanna Glover Wheeler you been and always will be my everything. I love you. Thank you for everyone’s love and support.”
