On Friday night, February 3rd, 2023 the Laurel Landmark, Dickerson-Wharton Family Residence caught on fire. The house had been a part of the family for nearly a century.

The home was filled with heirlooms and sentimental memorabilia from family members who had lived at this historic property along with countless memories over the generations.

The family is currently displaced from the home until it is safe for them to return, if ever.

We are seeking to raise emergency relief funds to help the Dickerson-Wharton Family as they take a toll of things lost and search for temporary housing.
