The West family is raising money to rebuild a house severely damaged in a fire on August 10. Because of a singular and tangled set of circumstances, there was no fire insurance.

In a matter of minutes on a normal Tuesday at 11:27 in the morning, everything changed. A windy day, a candle in a windowsill, and a tapestry on the wall catches fire. Matty, Alli, the West family, and dog Rosey made it out safely as the flames quickly engulfed the upstairs and house.

This is more than just a house. It’s an amazing family adventure for quite some time. You see, Matty’s parents were the original owners. Matty grew up there, and he is now living there, and he and Alli are parents to five amazing kids.

Gibson, 17; Harley, 15; Finley, 13; Fletcher-Fox, 11, and Walker, 8. Alli and Matty appreciate Woodbridge so much - the schools, sports, and the families that support each other. We coach, have volunteered, give back as much as we can, and truly enjoy everyone around us. We face a battle beyond our control. We can’t do it on our own. Join us.
